Mega Grow 1000 Reverse Osmosis Unit 40L/hr Product Details:

Mega Grow 1000 is a high quality reverse osmosis system manufactured by GrowMax Water capable of producing up to 40 litres per hour of pure water. Eliminates up to 95% of all of salts and heavy metals, 99% of chlorine and sediments down to 5 microns.

The Mega Grow 1000 reverse osmosis unit is designed to lower the PPM / EC, remove chlorine and sediment from your water supply. Water with a lower EC 0.0 - 0.2 allows much more of the correct nutrients to be fed and absorbed by your plants. Chlorine and sediment free water is essential to growing healthy plants and maintaining beneficial micro organisms, bacteria and fungi in your root zone and growing media. These microbes cannot survive in the presence of chlorine.

Make the change to reverse osmosis pure water for faster growth, healthier plants and stronger plant roots. You will be amazed and wish you had done it sooner.

Water usage with the Mega Grow 1000 reverse osmosis system has been optimised to achieve 60% waste water / 40% pure water. If needed 10-20% tap water can be added to aid pH stability.

Reverse Osmosis units are supplied complete with Inlet tubing, garden hose connector, Sediment filter, 2 x Green coconut carbon filter, 2 x reverse osmosis membrane, Pressure gauge, Outlet tubing and Shut-off valve. A float valve can be purchased separately to top up tanks or reservoirs automatically.

CHANGE FILTERS: RO Membrane 6 months - 2 Years (depending of usage and input EC level), Sediment Filter every 6 months, Carbon Filter every 11,000 litres

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 2.75bar 40 psi is required to operate the system properly. To increase water pressure a booster pump kit is available separately. Do not install the system where the incoming water pressure higher than 5.5bar / 80psi, pressure can be reduced by installing a pressure regulator. Only use with cold water supply, hot water will damage the filters and membrane. Protect unit against frost.
